Truth and consequences

Truth is subjective because it hurts some at the same time as it makes some happy.

I could tell you the truth and maybe it would make you happy or maybe it would hurt us both. But in any possible constellation it would have consequences for both of us.

Or I can continue stealing hidden looks at you and pretend as if nothing's going on (going wrong)
